Brave little Darby completed his four-day recovery from a snake bite. With a final check (and one last cuddle) from Dr. Tee, Darby got the all-clear to head back home to mum.
Darby's case is unfortunately part of a larger trend across the Riverina this spring. Snake envenomation cases are popping up daily, and his is far from the first case we've treated. Lower to the ground and spending more of their time outside, our pets need our help to protect them against the dangers that lurk in the grass.
